If Mushy can serve as army chief for 8 years & Kayani for 6 years then why can't RS be given extension.

He is much better than the first two & has crushed the terrorists all over the country. He has brought back peace in the country.

We may not get such an efficient & committed Army chief again.

Army chief k liye 3 years ka tenure boht kam hota hai. aik paidaar solution k liye zaroori hai k tenure thora ziada ho army chief ka, ta k wo jo targets lay ker aya hai woh achieve kary aur jaye, aur extension ki zaroorat hi na pary. But yahan per tenure barhany ki bijaye her army chief ko extension deny ka socha jata hai, which is not proper solution.

I agree with you but at this critical time where Op Zarbe Azab & other operations against terrorists are going on in full swing, we should not change the Sipah Salar. Because we don't know if the new army chief will be that willing & adamant to continue these operations with such determination & consistency.

The other plus point of Raheel Sharif is that he is a true soldier who is not interested in politics. I think it will be a gamble to change the Army Chief at this crucial time.
