I agree with your overall assertion.

But couple of points here. One is that we don't know if Wajih was authorized to take action or hand out punishments.
We all know that he did have the mandate to find the facts behind the rigging but whether he had the authority to kick
people out is another thing. That brings us to my other point and that is that it doesn't really matter. In my opinion all of these investigations
and tribunals are a sham as you can tell from the reaction of people from IK to the people who were found responsible for this rigging or irregularities.

Whether Wajih stays of leaves doesn't matter. We all know that nothing will happen. IK will defend JT at all costs and others too as they 'donate' to keep the party going. Provide one example of PTI top leadership that belongs to the middle class - all are either top businessmen or feudal lords or sardars or gaddee nashins. IK has always moved around in the elite circles both here in Pakistan and in the UK. He feels more comfortable with this group and you know that this group, the world over, has their vested interests to protect.

Bottom line is that if anyone still had any hope with PTI of changing the culture of corruption in Pakistan should rest assured now after these findings by Wajihuddin that nothing will change and it will be more of the same.
