There is no Extreme Islamic law.
A law is Islamic or A Law is non Islamic. that is it.
Misuse of any law should not be tolerated
The blasphemy law is not an islamic law please. It was established by Zia to gain mullah's support.
I am glad that sherry rehman took the first step to make amendments in this racist blasphemy law , also admire IK and ayaz mir spoke against this senseless law . all the problems started after the implementation of this law.Now these maulvis are threatening to execute anyone who made the changes ,even the judges or mna's or mpa's. what kind of messages these people are conveying to the world how cruel and backward people we are? These fanatics have held the country hostage in true sense, if the govt is sincere ,no one can challenge the govt like they are doing. This law has been misused and abused as a personel grudge and it should be repealed at any cost to have peace and harmony among the different sects.Islam preaches mercy,forgiveness,peace and compassion why these maulvis dont realize it.

I have said many times that Wrong implementation of something did not make a thing wrong itself.

If it is in Hadith in DIRECT sense and if it is in Quran then how come it is not Islamic? Zia Amend the law not Introduce the Law.
And i never go against the recheck any wrong points in the law.

I am not making myself anything dear.
As i said. This law should be amend so that no one misuse it.
But if someone say that core point of this law is not islamic or say that its fanatic,racist etc. then he must prove it.

abdullah,i dont take it as you think but reality is that it has been proved that this is a man made law( by zia ul haq ) and you know what happened to him.Cruelty does not pay off. I agree with you to amend this law to give breathing room to our minorities.Sohail a christian said when muslims burn their churches ,Bibles were also burned which is their holy book,he asks why no one was arrested or charged for this crime? we should think in a human way rather than rational way.I hope you got my point.

As I said many times that wrong implementation of Law is problem not the law itself.
sohail was talking about why no one is arrested on burning churches?
Burning Churches and Bible is far more bigger crime and i have said it many times that even they should punished those who accuse an innocent.

No Dear you can not say that. It is in Hadith in clear words. also in Quran.
and if you want me to show Mr. Ghamadi's point of view. well then you must stop eating Camel. as he thinks that Halal and Haram is bassed on Human instinct,nature.
and I have said it many times that repealing the law will cause more damage. believe me by this out of court murders will increase as most of the persons will try to become Gazi Ilm deen
Abdullah,amending the law will be fine as long no innocent is convicted on personel revenge which is more serious crime.Did you notice, no muslim is ever convicted for blasphemy for minorities ,its always other way around. Its hypocracy of our system,minority is already living scared and a fearfull life. Let them feel free and a true pakistani which is in the interest of pakistan.The western media sometimes make fun of our religion,may be its the reaction of our treatment to our minorities-just need a careful study about it.

As per My knowledge there is a law that hurting feelings of any group is a crime
and if I am wrong then I would say If there is no law then there should be a law about that.
Because it is an order of Quran
(6:108. And insult not those whom they worship besides Allah, lest they insult Allah wrongfully without knowledge. Thus We have made fair seeming to each people its own doings; then to their Lord is their return and He shall inform them of all that they used to do.)
and please do not bother about what western media thinks. Think according to what your believes(as per religion,regional) said
in west negating a thing that is related to history that it occurs or not is a crime and one could be in jail for 3 years. and no body(at large) talk about it. so we should not based our laws on What west thinks.
and again i would say that
Amend the law that innocent is not being charged and accuser get the punishment in case of false allegation.
any one who hurt feelings of going beyond the limits no matter muslim or non muslim should be accountable.
Note: basic religious difference must not be taken as hurting feelings. for example. Christians think that Jesus is God. but Muslims did not. that should not be counted under hurting feelings. etc...
