Interesting comments from Hamid Mir and a good use metaphor of "Pagal". People were behind Fatima Jinnah but establishment brought General Ayub in power. When we can have a discussion about a memo that it could potentially be an act of treason and it could divide Pakistan etc. so why can we not talk about bringing those people to justice who divided Pakistan in 1971, and also gave away Siachen to India or gave bases to America within Pakistan. Was that done by Musharraf alone or are there more actors behind the scenes?

I get the idea that Hamid Mir is trying to use scare tactics,trying to scare the people that "Baat bohat peechay tak jai gee" I say let it go as far back as it has to.

I agree with his opinion that this government of PPP is trying to have this issue get it the status of a Political Shaheed, but nevertheless this does not mean that Supreme court or Army or the people of the nation step back from current position and demands.

1. Sad journalism and unprofessional journalists.

2. They are just speaking about incidents which happened in private and should not be spoken of in a public forum.
eg. Is there any proof that Mansoor Ijaz fought with the guest sitting in the middle at his home?

If it is one persons word against that of another or more than one, please note that 2 people telling a lie doesn't make it
the truth. A lie remains a lie no matter how many people say it.

3. If you observe, the so called memo is not written on any official letterhead, it also doesn't have a signature.

4. Shoddy journalism and shoddy journalists, especially Hamid Mir, Mohammad Mallick and Ansar Abbasi should be fined and strict action should be initiated against them.

I feel a wave of Jealousy from your writings,I could be wrong but for you to call analytic and legal matters Shoddy only speaks of lack of understanding or unable to comprehend.

If an individual like Mansoor Ejaz can shake Pakistan like this, just think why do Pakistan need enemies like the sole superpower US or a strong neighbor like India. After Mansoor Ejaz, it looks like Pakistan Army is now on the defense.
