DashinPun,

The charges you imposed on Musharraf were the same pioneered by Nawaz Sharif, but you are supporting the pioneer of these crimes and demonstrating against the one who reapplied them. I think if you are a fair person, you should condemn Nawaz Sharif more than Musharraf.

But you are not a fare person, you are like most of the Pakistani, who prays personalities.

But remember the concept of Prophet Peace Be Upon Him one of sayings is, the one who support a criminal, is of the same fate. So be careful.

Re: PML-N Demonstration Against Musharaf's Bloody Regime Today

After Nawaz Sharif arrived in London, only a few days before the Manchester rally of Pervez Musharraf on Saturday evening, it was believed that he was taking personal interest in arranging a major anti-Musharraf demonstration outside the venue where Pervez Musharraf addressed a rally of about 2,000 people. UK-based leaders of various parties, including Barrister Sultan Mahmoods Azad Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Muslim League, had not only announced to take part in the anti-Musharraf demonstration but had also vowed to stop Musharraf from entering Manchester at the Motorway. A leader of Sardar Attique Khans Azad Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference had also announced to join the protesters but all the hype and the blusters turned into dust when those who announced their participation in the anti-Musharraf demonstration failed to reach the venue. In a press conference in London, those community and political activists who were most vocal in vowing to make the demonstration successful failed to turn up at the venue and preferred to stay at home or go out for picnic. It turned out to be a show only for a photo-op. When our sources contacted some of the leaders to ask about their non-show at the anti-Musharraf rally, it emerged that the London-based leaders had never obtained approval for participation in the rally from their central leadership. In fact, one of the Muslim Conference local leaders was even present in the hall during the rally and was one of the loudest cheerers of Musharraf and regularly raising slogans in favour of Musharraf. However, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz UK leader Zubair Gull and his team were the only ones, who chanted full-throated slogans against Musharraf outside the venue. A large number of greater Manchester police officers were present on the occasion to keep the anti- and pro-Musharraf camps apart from each other. Both sides openly abused each other and there were occasions when the police had to physically separate the two sides from attacking each other. The protest outside the venue started with the beating of Musharrafs effigy with shoes and heavy sloganeering and at the peak of the protest, around 250 protesters, including some from local Manchester groups, gathered but less than 100 protesters stayed there and waited for Musharrafs arrival, who came about two hours late at the venue. An on-duty Greater Manchester police officer put the figure of demonstrators at around 80 when Pervez Msuahrraf made it to the hall from a back entrance without having to face the wrath of protesters. Inside the hall, Musharraf once again attacked Nawaz Sharif and gave every impression that he will spill more beans about Sharif brothers in the coming days, but s***e little against the chief beneficiary of his infamous National Reconciliation Order (NRO), President Zadari. The rally hall was infiltrated by at least 10 well-trained Hizb-ut-Tahrir workers, who interrupted Musharrafs speech for about 10 minutes until all of them were evicted from the hall. The Islamist group had cancelled its planned protest outside the venue after our sources had reported fears of possible violence on the streets. But the group, banned by Pervez Musharraf for alleged extremism, did show its annoyance for the second time after first interrupting Musharrafs rally in Birmingham last week. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz officials strongly maintained that Nawaz Sharif was only on a private visit to London and will not do any public rally to stave off the pressure exerted by Musharraf but his party activists are strongly in favour of publicly replying to Musharrafs attacks and no better place for it than Britain. Zubair Gull, PML-N UK leader, told our sources that Nawaz Sharif had not yet given any indication of any public engagement in London but didnt rule out the possibility of a community meeting. If a meeting happens, it will not be to answer the lurid allegations of a discredited dictator but to speak to British Pakistanis about Pakistan and their problems. It is below Nawaz Sharifs status to fall to the bait of Musharraf, who has lost touch with Pakistan and its people, he said. However, Hamid Mirza, All Pakistan Muslim Leagues UK coordinator, said the successful rallies in Britain had shown that Musharraf was well-liked by Pakistanis and there was a great level of interest in what he had to say about the state of affairs in Pakistan. Musharrafs message is being received well. We are presenting an alternative system of governance from the corruption of Nawaz Sharif and Zardari. They should be brave enough to answer the questions posed by Musharraf, added Mirza. End.
