PM Nawaz Sharif meets Army Chief Raheel Sharif discuss political crisis

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday held a crucial meeting with Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and discussed current political impasse in the country, SAMAA reported.

According to sources, the two high-ups have principally agreed to resolve the prevailing political crisis through consensus in the best national interests.

The PM and army chief also discussed PAT chief Dr.Tahirul Qadris 48-hour deadline to the government which he issued on Monday evening.

The Prime Minister has expressed his commitment to peacefully resolve the political dispute.

Security situation in Islamabads Red Zone also came under discussion in the meeting held in Islamabad. - SAMAA
