Ploto blamed democracy for the troubles of Athens.He felt that the average citizen could not be trusted to think clearly or vote intelligently.He said democracy produced poor leaders and poor government.Ploto suggested that men trained as philosophers would make the wisest and best leaders.

I do not want to blow the bubble but I would very much like the Pakistani people so ready to blame martial law for every ill that has occurred, let me ask you guys a few questions and hope you will answer them honestly and not just as rhetoric to be politically correct!

What happenend from 1947 untill 1958 when Gen. Ayub declared the martial law? Were the politicians able to give Pakistan any stability and constituition?
Do you ever think what could have happened if Pakistan were still being governed like a game of monoply by politicians if india chose to attack Pakistan like it did in 1965?
Have you ever asked your civilian masters to hold the military leaders to court and punish them rather than let them off the hook? and why not?
Why was Gen Niazi not court Martialled even though he kept demanding from the ZA Bhutto govertment to do so? What was the big gain for ZA Bhutto?

These are just some starters for the thinkers, please think and read and rather than just listening to people with vested interest!
