For that to happen you will have to get the world economy to rise too as it did from around 2002-2008 and have the western powers pump in a lot of money into our economy to prop it up just as they did after 9/11.
Our folks are so simple they just take things as they look on the surface without giving any consideration to the underlying factors that drive or sink an economy. Musharraf was no wizard when it came to economy he just happened to be at the right place at the right time. Look at the GDP numbers and economic growth numbers from around the world from 2002-2008 and you will see that even some smaller countries and weaker economies did better than Pakistan during that period. The fundamentals of Pakistan's economy didn't get any boost during Musharraf's era and once the western powers pulled the plug on the money that poured in after 9/11 the economy started to collapse and of course the corrupt government under Zardari made sure that even the natural growth in economy would be reversed.
