Karachi Jan 14: Responding to the appeal of City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal the association of private schools in Karachi has expressed willingness to provide a 6 months fee waiver to children of arson affected traders and all martyred or injured in the blast on Ashura. A delegation of All Private Schools Management Association (APSMA) led by Chairman Khalid Shah called on City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal at his office to announce the decision. On this occasion APSMA Chairman also asked for the list of the affectees so that they could take immediate measures for waiving of school fee of their children.
Chairman of APSMA Khalid Shah said that they had initiated measures just after the appeal of City Nazim as they highly respect Nazim Karachi and are grateful to him for great service to city of Karachi. He further said that the students and teachers of private schools have expressed desire to pay tribute to City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal for his excellent works in Karachi. The Association has decided to hold a reception in honor of City Nazim.
City Nazim on this occasion said that the city government was using all of its resources for early rehabilitation of affectees. The contractors of CDGK and KWSB and members of ABAD were also taking part in the restoration process that has delivered this message to enemies that they will never succeed in their evil designs.
He also thanked the private schools management association for responding to his appeal and said that the final list of children of affectees will soon be provided to the association for further action. City Nazim also asked the association to exempt the fee of wards of all those 45 families whose members were martyred in the Ashura blast so that they could also carry on their studies.
