I agree for a few dollars, they will sell off/rent land and airbases in Baluchistan to attack Iran.

Iran, Malaysia and Turkey were the only three countries who have currently supported Pakistan on Kashmir issue and expressed dissatisfaction on the controversial special status removal act of India. Now what do u say?

India ,UAE , Saudia & Kuwait monarchs will be in support of USA.

Turkey & Russia will be in support of Iran.

Pakistan will be under pressure to choose side if China jumped in.

USA want Rising China to be sucked in.

Pakistan would remain neutral militarily but diplomatically it would work towards / sport prevention / end of conflict thus favoring Iran. There r idiots on this forum who are blind enough not to see things in historic perspective but r more driven by hatred towards state institutions.

What did Pakistan do in Iran-Iraq war? Pakistan supported Iran through weapon supplies yet protected UAE & KSA by sending troops in-order to prevent conflict from escalating. Pakistan did not support Iraq which was Sunni + America was fully behind them. In the meanwhile, we also remained US ally against Soviet union. So the Generals in Power, choose foreign policy in best interest of the country.

You sound like a little kid on a street having a fight with his neighbour kid. I will not make more comment of your infantile argument . However, having known the history of these Army generals, I bet you they will not pass any chance to fatty up their Bank balance in foreign countries. Its a shame that the civilian authorities have been so much eroded under Bongi khan that now the army generals openly take calls of foreign minister of their Master.

Ignoring the fact that the Iran-USA situation is blown way out of proportion just like Aramco oil field attack was, the only role Pk should play is through UN and keep a fund handy in case of a refugee spillout at the borders.

what u r saying can be very right , perhaps thing will quell down and no war will happen.
But the question to ask yourself is :

USA attacked and destroyed Iraq
did the same with Libya via its proxies
Same with Syria
Invaded Afghanistan
Landed soldiers in Somalia and so on....

How can you be so sure that they will not come for your throat once they are done with Iran?

There is not 1% chance of war between Iran and US. No point to create panic.

There is an on-going conflict between arabs and Iran regarding control of Iraq. That conflict is decades old. (and if we go back it is centuries old). There may be some excessive heat on the ground inside Iraq - but that's not a new issue that pak or anyone else needs to bother. Further Pak has a decades old policy since first arab-iran war since 80's (or even earlier at Shah's times)- that won't change now or later.
