On Monday, a petition was filed in the Sindh High Court against the MQMs referendum scheduled to be held on November 8. The respondents include the National Assembly speaker, Senate chairperson, MQM founder and chief Altaf Hussain and MQM Deputy Convener Dr Farooq Sattar. The Sindh High Courts division bench is expected to take up the petition on November 7.

We need a government in power that will not care about the 25 seats they hold. That will go after criminals who are day and night spilling blood in the streets of Karachi. It is complete carnage out there and the media is not even reporting the true picture of what is going on! One of my friends from Nazimabad was almost killed by this mafia. Other parties have taken arms to protect themselves from these wankers.

Not if army itself is present at the polling station. 1 or 2 soldiers per booth and we may be able to change the whole country!

Also, Elections should be under Supreme Court and Army both. They should make this decision because Election commissioner already brought in a petition for this.


Now is the time for both these institutions to make this decision to save the country. If this doesnt happen, there's no point having an Army or a Supreme Court in the country. The country will be finished anyway. Its now or never!
