New Delhi, Mar 12(ANI): Visiting women entrepreneurs from Pakistan on Friday called for strengthening of trade and commerce with India.

This was expressed by the delegation after they met the members of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry's Ladies Organisation (FLO) in the national capital.

The delegation from Pakistan under the banner of Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) was led by fashion designer, Faizaa Samee.

Samee said that individual efforts need to be lent a fillip rather than blaming the governments of India and Pakistan for the bottlenecks.

"I think we really need to find out what is the right procedure that can take place. It is not just the governments that are to be blamed but it is also our lack of knowledge. That is why we can't do it. So, we are working towards finalizing procedures. We should be able to increase trade and in my opinion it should be done properly," Samee said.

"And personally I don't think we should let Dubai take all the benefits as we both countries trade through them. By trading we should give direct profits to our countries and our governments. We will do business by giving proper duties and taxes," she added.

She further expressed confidence that through better and pro-active communication, the regional trade between the two neighbours would increase a great deal.

"I am sure we will take this forward. And I hope that communication between both the countries increases and people can do trade, which I think is very important. Regional trade is extremely important for both our economies," Samee added.

The formal meeting between the WCCI and the FLO was a part of the 'Aman Ki Asha', an initiative of the Jang Group and the Times of India Group of newspapers between Pakistan and India.

Apart from Samee, the other members of the Pakistani delegation included fashion designer Farida Qureshi, cosmetologist Dr. Farah Dewan, Aisha Rahman, Huma Naved and Aasma Hanif.

Ranjana Agarwal, Senior Vice President of FLO led the Indian delegation at the meet.

Well I am of the view that first let us decide if India is our enemy or friend or to the least a business partner. The hypocrisy of "being friend and foe at the same time" should stop. My personal view is that "without Kashmir solution, everything had been/is/is going to be a non-starter " So, until and unless India solves the Kashmir problem, kiss her
goodbye and treat her accordingly.

Let us be realistic:

a) Kashmir is a DISPUTE or it is a disputed territory between Pakistan and India.
b) This dispute/problem/issue (what ever you may wish to call), dates back from
1947.
c) The dispute is internationally recognized.
That is THE REALITY. If India or Pakistan do not wish to see it then it is
hypocrisy.
Now Solution:
i) Your reservation seems to be on "redrawing boundaries", let us see it
historically not in a very distant future. At the eve of Germany unification in
1990s, Germany voluntarily or in an agreement abandoned its territory towards Polish border, because according to the Germans, the territory was not so important than getting the unification objective.

ii) In Bosnia Herzegovina War, the BH left territory to Corotia, almost all coastal line but got the independent country.
The above two examples amply show that if peace and long term benefits are required boundaries are of no importance.
The best alternative is that "Let the Kashmiris themselves decided in a free, fair and impartial way, without the involvement of Pakistan or India or their administrative machinery", Their say is fundamental and vital.
Whatever, India or Pakistan may decide or not decide, the reality is that without the solution of Kashmiri dispute, all is photo-session and wastage of time and energy.

I got more confused with your post like LET KASMIRI DECIDE ,
its indian kashmiri or both sides??
what type of administrative machinery??

you gave example of germany or bosnia,
what india is getting any benefit like that??

there were lots of small and big states merged in india and pak during or after
Independence, why kashmir is different from them other than RELIGION.

No involvement of Indian or Pakistani administrative machinery

India knows very well what she is to get but is not courageous enough
to take the steps.

You better know that the history of Kashmir dispute is different from other states.
