This has to be the most epic, adventurous & most viral video coming out of Pakistan in recent years. A brave Pakistani man stopped 22 wheeler truck whose brakes had been failed on Motorway & its drivers had jumped out of it to save their lives.

Yad Ali who was traveling on Lahore-Islamabad Motorway with his family, couldn’t ignore this scene & ultimately decided to stop the heavy truck while it was still moving. His family – wife & children – kept on stopping him but he stopped his own car & ran after the truck to stop it & save other precious lives, which could be in danger due to the out-of-control vehicle.

Recalling this dramatic event, his wife told, “This happened on motorway salt range today. We saw a 22 wheeler driver and his 2nd Seater jumped out of it as the breaks of this monster failed. Athar Yad Ali ran and sat in it to take control and got it to safe stop after 2 km of trying different ways to stop it. He was appreciated by MW police and so many people who saw him doing this act of bravery.”

Where were that bay-ghairat Driver and his 2nd seater? If a non-professional truck driver could stopped the Truck why not those idiot who put other precoius lives in danger? Their licences must be revoked and they should be procecuted and fine.

On one hand this guy is risking his life to save others' and on the other I could still hear cars honking and passing by the little kids, who should have been strictly told not to come out of the car, and did not bother to stop.

I'm amazed though. why driver abandoned the truck in the first place as if was going straight into a ditch. I mean it is a long road, just control it and pull over to some sort of hindrance.

He should be rewarded for this brave act...Despite being discouraged by whole family he did this just because he thought it was dangerous to ignore it and it could lead to a disaster.

If any of you guys/girls (God Forbid) ever get in to this situation, where brake fail happens.

Don't loose your calm.
Turn off your vehicle engine (keep ignition on, so that engine is getting oil, and wheels are in control)
put your vehicle in lower gear (Since engine is off, this will brake the speed) gradually form top to first.
Pull your hand brake slowly (to ensure, your vehicle won't skid).
