The Spada 2000 is an all-weather, day and night, highly automated, advanced air defence system.
Spada 2000 - A low to medium altitude air defence system consisting of a radar with 60 km range and four 6-cell missile launchers. The Aspide 2000 missile can intercept enemy missiles and aircraft at a range of over 20 km. A contract for 10 batteries was signed after Spada 2000 was selected over competing systems from Raytheon, Diehl BGT and Saab and pre-contract firing tests in Pakistan, which were assisted by the Italian Air Force. According to some sources, Pakistan ordered 20 Spada 2000 air defence systems and 750 Aspide 2000 missiles in 2007. Latest reports state Pakistan is to test the Spada 2000 air defence system in July 2010, followed by deliveries of first of ten batteries. Deliveries of all ten batteries are reported to be completed by 2013 with further orders possible. Pakistan test fired the new SPADA 2000 Plus air defence missile system in July 2010. The missile system was tested by the Range & Instrumentation Division of SUPARCO (National Space Agency). Three drone planes were successfully intercepted and shot down by the SPADA 2000 Plus Missile System.

pakistan do have these brothers. these along with chinese Hq-2 and HQ-9 which are roughly the chinese version of famous s-300 Russian missiles
We have them bro... But they are more india centric you can say. I have a very strong feeling we have already acquired HQ9 - Chinese Version of S300s. Which might turn out to be Pakistan's dirtiest secret.
One thing to note about Pakistan is that we do play our cards late mostly just like with our nuclear programme etc due to the very nature of our relations with everyone.

IMO, we still need to develop better interception batteries as f35 can take out S300 batteries. Russia has already developed S400 which is the mother of them ALL.
Russia is known to be better than US in this field. S300 (HQ-9), If my memory serves me right gives you a radius of 150 km 'NO FLY ZONE'. Thinking why Israel is yet to attack iran? because it is feared Russia has already supplied Iran with S300 because they did undergo talks regarding that. Present news is that Iran is trying to negotiate S300's in exchange for that stealth drone they brought down.
Therefore, couple of J 10's flying with loads of Jf-17s (block II is anticipated to be stealth) over our borders and F-35s can be encountered. Any aircraft when facing sheer numbers as in 1:3 is at a BIG disadvantage is avionics. Therefore, for our hundreds of Jets, US needs a lot of aircraft as a lone F22 can't do the job as it will have to counter HQ9s/ Spada/ MANPADS - Anza I - II - III (if its flying moderately low) and our stealth JF 17s Blk II along with JF17s Blk I and our J10Bs.
To annihilate Pakistan US needs to go all out which IT CANNOT afford at ALL at this moment.
All we need to do is GROW some b*lls. People have been living in fear for a LONG LONG time.
ohh and regarding NATO... Well their Typhoons were beaten 0:3 by our pilots in dog fight already in excersizes in Turkey reported by Airforce Monthly!
Their best bet is BVR, but hey, we got BVR too. SD10s on JF17 due to be upgraded with better missiles which will furthur increase their range, but their current range is 70 km which is already good enough. Along with AESA radars, we are a force that can prove to be a formidable opponent.
Did I mention our Ballistic Missiles? that can take out every base US owns in Afghanistan? Along with our smaller nuclear bombs that can be shot even at artillery range whilst their soldiers are moving inside our territory!!
Anyway, this is an open topic and we can talk a lot but just to let you know, Pakistan at the moment is NOT an easy target.
All this and I wonder how we sold our selves for so cheap???

Very rightly said. and do remember the Gharnata (Grenada - Spain) fell to Christians because muslim rulers did not bother to have regular army at that time and they had plenty of food to eat but that was useless because at the end either they had to leave the spain or become christians.
