Pakistan desperately needs city planners.

Recent heat wave in Karachi killed thousands just like roasting them between concrete ovens. Unplanned concrete buildings and road surfaces heat up the city environment by 10 degrees.

It is not the climate changes that are to blame for droughts, drying out of soil and streams, lowering of rivers and groundwater levels. Rather, the real culprits are the three phenomena which keep on spreading inconspicuously but quickly throughout the city lands: Compressed surfaces (even those with small inclination degree); Man-made slopes (in which the existing capillaries are broken); and Draining ditches in the lowlands

All these phenomena contribute to the draining of lands, thanks to which the sun heats up the soil, which, consequently, heats up the atmosphere....
These three phenoma influence climate change dramatically.

In few years time, Lahore and Faisalabad cities will be washed away drowning millions of people.
