I know it's hard and sort of inappropriate to comment on someone's personal choices of life. However, in a country where the values of an individual are based on religion ( Islam) and culture ( eastern) these sort of actions have no place and security. Majority of the people will never accept it as a form of living. And any sort of life style which majority think of it ( religiously and culturally) as an evil is just a waste of time. And this was one of the dominant example of it.
The other painful fact about our nation is the humongous division between the the elite class ( which usually practice and prefer this way of life) and the common ( majority) man. Elite class ( no matter how and what it takes) is always trying to follow and find peace, respect, success in western life style. Where a common man in majority has a different approach to life. Which creates the huge gap among the people of one nation itself. A gap among people in a nation is a disaster. People like us ( as a nation) who highly value religion ( may not practice it to great extent) and culture to great extent can't find peace, respect and success in this way of life. No matter how long we try to follow it. We will have to come back to our originality. We are genetically not framed to act in this manner. No matter what and how hard we try to act likewise apparently, we can not change the religious and cultural tuned genes in our selves. We are born with them. There is no genetically modification for it.
The longer we try to inherit the Western ways of life, the longer we will fail and suffer. There is no place in our lives for it. It is exactly like seeking water channels in fire or the other way around.
Our secret of success is not in inheriting the western culture but in standing hard on our ways. We had been the rulers of the world in the past exactly in our own ways and approach to life. There is no success in looking forward. Go and look 500-1500 years back. There you will find the shinning secrets of peace, respect and glory.
