Very good suggestion. ADMINS! can you develop similar application? You can start with basic one and add features later. You can definitely find many IT professionals on this forum who would be ready to help you.

Not an easy task brother. Need a big team of IT experts. A huge project. Everyone involved with siasat.pk aren't IT professionals and don't have anything to do with computers. Maybe some IT guy can shed light on this.

Its a MAJOR undertaking and requires meeting of minds and a sponsorship from businesses. The cost could be in excess of $100,000 even tho the pay back would short. Also a major problem would to publicize and convince Muslims to advertise and use it.

And thank you for moving the the petition to ban Facebook meanwhile politicians with fake degrees are contesting elections and corruption is cases are pushed aside for such a non-sense issue. But I guess Pakistan is the only true "Islamic" country in the world. What's the next step? Ban the internet from Pakistan because internet is full of anti-Muslim websites. But I would like to see the yahoo chat room banned. Boys and girls are meeting that way, unwanted pregnancy will be common soon, that would include suicide, killings, single-living etc. Ban the yahoo chat room.

Well our country have blocked the facebook successfully started its journey back to stone age and I'm glad all of you will be very happy. So lets start banning the rest of the social networks one by one. Orkut has some anti-Islamic pages and groups so who's filing a lawsuit? And did you know that Google also indexes anti-Islamic pages? So when are we taking down Google?

Last time i heard that countries like Canada and United States have laws that protect Freedom of Speech and because of that these social networks and search engines are doing this stuff. Shocking isn't it? So when are my muslim brothers living there, packing their bags and coming back so that we can wage Jihad against these countries?

there is no such thing as freedom of speech in US/Canada. You can not dispute holocaust, or criticize Americans if you live in Canada, or criticize Israel/Jews in you live in Canada/US/UK. Hence no freedom of speech

I don't understand why do you compare this issue with the holocaust? Holocaust is a different issue which the west experienced with great loss of life? Westerns countries are secular countries where the religion don't have much influence on their society while they do consider holocaust as a disturbing event (and sure it is disturbing i don't why do you people want to criticize it)? So they don't consider religion like we do and they mock it all the time. Why are you expecting that they will consider to any of our request? Internet is full of such thing so why aren't you supporting the ban on internet? It's just a page on facebook with some bunch of stupid cartoons. So GET OVER IT...

Facebook is great social tool that can be used by us to spread dawah or do something that can actually benefit the cause of Islam? Boycotting facebook will another disconnect us from the rest of world and both us and west will still be mocking each other of being irrational...
