They are playing with public funds. So they don't have anything to lose. A lot of profits go into the pockets of priviledged few in the army and buerocracy.

Why is it that Pakistan is always in danger and needs load of money to be paid to army each year, what about other Muslim countries like Turkey, Malaysia etc? Establishment played big part in dividing pakistan in two countries and same game is going on in Baluchistan. Those simple minded people can talk all night about how great the army is and we have seen that in 1971, kargil, OBL, Mehran base, GHQ attack etc. They are only good at serving as Rent-an-Army for US, which is what they did back in Zia's era and now.
