Hypocrisy is the act of persistently professing beliefs, opinions, virtues, feelings, qualities, or standards that are inconsistent with one's actions. Hypocrisy is thus a kind of lie. For example, Pakistani Politicians.
I was watching a TV show representing, ANP, PML-Q and PML-N. They were presenting their stand on Pakhtoon Khawa and Hazara dispute.
PML-Q who lost badly in hazara got a golden opportunity to use the crowd for its own benefits. They brought them on the roads and consequently people had to lose their lives for the benefits of these politicians. PML-N who has an equal share in every decision made by government are now claiming that they were against this clause in 18th amendment. And ANP is claiming that they have given identity to the people of NWFP.
Firstly, every party in coalition has signed the bill before presenting it in the house. Once you signed the 18th amendment, you meant to agree with every clause including the clause of changing NWFP to Pakhtoon Khawa. Now how in the world these parties in coalition are defending themselves by standing against pakhtoon khawa to earn some votes and how in the universe these people are still listening to these politicians, giving away their lives. Hypocrisy and stupidity on sale.
Secondly, the most annoying factor is the level of idiocity of these politicians. They worked on 18th amendemtns for months. They thought for what ANP wants in order to stay with PPP and PML-N but their retarded mental level never for a second thought about the possible reaction of Hazarawaal people in this regard. This reaction was not at all unexpected. 10 years back, when I was 13, I would read on the walls in Abbotabad " Paktoonkhawa Namazoor". However these politicians were still deliberately unaware of it.
Thirdly, When these politicians were playing with the nation by bringing amendments in constitution, couldn'n they add another clause of distributing current provinces further. They are going to to do it anyways. If they would have done it by then, pakhtoon khawa wouldn't have been an issue for hazarawaal people. They would have been given a hope of a separate province. Hence, these lost lives could have been used for a better purpose.
Fourthly, being a human, pashtoon and pakistani my heart bleeds to see the nation's attitude on the lose of Pashtoons people. Since, 9-11 uncountable pashtoons have lost their lives inside Pakistan. Every day they die in scores. For the rest of nation it sounds like a daily routine act. They do not even consider them as their own people. I never saw any crowd in hazara coming out to show even sympathy for the thousands pashtoons paying their lives for being Pakistanis. Even today 5 were killed by a drone. Any protest?
Lastly, what is in the name to lose lives for? If changing name of NWFP to pakhtoonkhawa can do any better then lets try changing Lahore to Los angles and see the magic of progress. We were same under the banner of NWFP. We will remain same under PakhtoonKhawa. This name wont bring us any progress, prosperity or peace.
Hypocrite politicians have been using this naive nation for decades. This crowd of my land still needs decades to get in senses.
My heart bleeds for my nation.
