looks like the efforts of former VCOAS gen yusuf khan for modernising the airforce with laser and GPS guidance is paying off finally. The project to equip the PAF and Army Aviation with laser designator pods and laser guided bombs/missiles was initiated in mid 2002, by the end of 2003, the army had night time laser capability in its cobras. and with personal initaitive of ACM Tanvir Mehmood and President Musharraf as the project's chief patron, we now have full laser guided strike capability. whoops.....Cant say anything more than that! :?
