Overseas Pakistan Don't Want To Visit Pakistan - MUST WATCH

I also made a thread after returning from my trip to Pakistan earlier this year. I have never really lived in Pakistan and Majority of my friends and relatives always ask me not to even think about moving to Pakistan since there are vultures and hyenas waiting to make a Bihari Kebab or Seekh Kebab out of you. I am still optimist about future of Pakistan and feel pleasure if any good news about Pakistan comes at the surface. But all those who suggested me not to go to Pakistan aren't completely wrong either.

It's indeed a sad fact that there's a considerable number of overseas Pakistanis including me who are now a misfit back home. People living in Canada may say anything but when your own friends and relatives back home ask you not to think about settling in Pakistan then what can we do? I personally have witnessed cases and issues relating to corruption in every walk of life.

This family friend of us narrated an incident about this person who was aging somewhere between 25 and 28 and had been married for over a year. He was working somewhere in UAE and came to see his family and wife who had recently given birth to a girl. He spent so much on the occasion. Lekin aik jagah woh apne kissi dost ke saath bike per jaraha tha key achanak usse kuch ladkoun ne gunpoint per loot liya aur bolne lage key tu wohi hay na jo UAE say aaya hay or so. Pata nahi usne kuch bola key kya hua key un ladkoun nay usse loot ker 2-3 goliyaan mardein and the person died. Kuch logoun ko uske dost per bhi shak hay . Khair aunty butati hain key mayyat ke moun se baad may bhi khoon bahejaraha tha. Now just think about the girl who has been widowed just within 3 years and for what ? Just some cash and items.....Us bachi ka soocho jisko achanak yateem kardiya gaya? Ab bolo aise cases sunker aap kya reaction dugay?

Law and order ke ilawa bhi aap social issues dekho. I personally witnessed a change in attitude among my own relatives and family friends this time. Poori zindagi jinhein izzat dee, jinka humne khayaal kiya, aaj woh loug.......ab kya boloun? I don't wanna say that. Abhi aik family friend say baat hui jinhein hum Oman say jante thay. He has got so many relatives in Lahore but still has to live in hotels and guest houses, plus some of his relatives live in big houses with spare rooms but no spot for him. Kya kareib ab?

But visiting Pakistan is something amazing ;)
i managed to visit Pakistan 3 times in 12 months ;)

My only advice, go to Pakistan, stay alert, and please dress in wear shaalwaar kameez & go using public transport, the more you show you are different the more locals can see it - well its not a ghaali to be Overseas but myself have lived in Pakistan for two years total non stop, and I learned a thing or two to be over this kind of attitude, as for above post #22. It looks like inside job.

I agree and once again with humility I disclose that Alhamdulillah I am sponsoring education for 10 kids in Pakistan. It does not cost that much but it is a source of some satisfaction for me. I do not disclose such things but I feel sometimes it is good so maybe another one of my brothers or sisters might take such a step just as some one inspired me to do this.
