You can come up with bundles of documentation to prove that somehow you served the right to atatck Iraq using previous UNO resolutions. However, the Inspectors were doing their job and they were not finished at the time.

you completely ignored your Government's relationship with Suddam and his cronies when the time was good.You alos side stepped the responsibilities of USA to take the nation of world together to debate the Iraq issue before rushing to attack.Instead of that, someone started a debate of old Eurpoe and New Europe since the countries were not happy with the aggration.

I don't expect you to dwell on the mistakes of the USA Government. Lets visit your earlier argument about the invasion of Iraq a little bit before I can reply your post. As I read your reply, it seems you are trying to justify the invasion of Iraq on previuos UNO resolutions dated back when Iraq Occupied Kuwait.You base your justification of invasion on those resolution which demanded Iraq to withdraw from kuwait. It strictly dealt with the expelling of Iraqi forces from Kuwait and restoring the sovergnity of Kuwait. It was not a blank cheque given to America to attack Iraq anytime it wanted. Your Excuse to invade Iraq on the pretext of that resolution is a lame excuse to say the least. Even the G.w Bush repeated the assertion of limited authority given to him under the UNO resolution when he was accused of not toppling the Suddam Hussain's Government.

The incident of Abu Gharib prison was not an isolated event. It was a continution of the policies of Bush Administration and Neo Cons which allowed waterboarding and other technics contrary to the convention. It was published and established that the Bush Administration and the Vice president intentionally looked at the other way, and in some cases, even supported the different interrogation methods which runs contrary to the adopted policy of the USA. The gito is another example of the human right abuses and the convention violations.So, to say that these cases of abuses brought in to the front by the American Army Soldiers is merely consoling your self and nothing else.There are reliable reports out there which exposes that the higher command was very well aware of these abuses but did nothing to stopped them.The General who was in Iraq at the time was removed from Iraq and was given a pat on the back and retained in the army on a different location.

My point regarding Suddam Hussain was very simple.He was known well to the Americans of whatever he was capable of. Before and after the war with Iran. His use of the chemicals were not hidden during the American support. I know that the foreign policies have its own dynamics . However, the truth is always going to prevail.If Saddam Hussain was bad( and sure, he was bad), he was also bad when American liked him.But at that time no one from US administration made any noises about his abused of chemical weapons.I know that American always like to deal with dictators of their choice. Since its much easier and very fast.It has been a history of Amercian foreign policy that they created these autocrats and dictators who were extremely unpopular among their own people yet American used them to forward their agenda in different parts of the world.
