Is it just me or collective punishment is immoral and barbaric... Why kill dogs, cats, or new born babies because men were engaging in Sodomy in that village... If you cannot understand the quran then you should not use other peoples' nonsense claims about the quran or deen of islam to attack the quran or deen of islam. Instead let everyone know you are being critical of those peoples'understanding of the quran and deen of islam who have stated what you claim about them.

The quran does not talk about things the way people attribute to it. This is why once we are through with interpretation of Surah 108, people will come to see by themselves how to interpret the quranic text properly. So please start sharing your knowledge about the quran with us.

There was a universal interpretation of Quran before based on early Islamic scholars such as Ibn Kathir, Bukhari, Muslim, Tabari etc, Muslims followed these interpretations for over thousand years until scientific discoveries showed factual errors in Quran. Since then everyone is coming up with their own way of interpreting the Quran in order to make it right...
