2. "India ki Maishat Sikud Rahi Hai" -
Is he saying that the Indian Economy is Contracting? or is he saying that India's growth rate is slowing down?
My Urdu is weak, i cannot understand certain words. Does Maishat mean Growth or Economy?
If he meant that Indian economy is Contracting---
a) he has made this statement many times.
b) economy shrinks when the growth rate becomes negative, like in Japan.
c) as long as the growth rate is in positive territory, economy is not shrinking, but growing. Even Pakistan's economy is growing, so i wonder why he has made this statement.
If he meant that India's growth rate is slowing down, then that's correct.
3. "The Indian Submarine has an 80 MW nuclear powerplant. Pakistan has built 300 MW powerplant, so its not difficult for us to build a nuclear sub...."
a) One thing that you all will agree with me on is that a 300 MW nuclear reactor, which is huge in size and is based on land, cannot be installed on a submarine.
b) You need to design a new smaller reactor. What i can tell you from the reports in the press etc. is that it has taken over 11yrs. to build this submarine. Russian help was needed in designing the nuclear reactor(not sure as to the extent of assistance). So this is not easy and requires a lot of expertise.

This is a nice info. congratulate India heartly for achieving this milestone. not a easy job if they have done it (or most of it) on their own.
As for pakistan I would say, we dont need to buy any of these only because now India has one. Otherwise it will just propagate the arms race in the region and people will die further from poverty and hunger.
Ok, maybe in the future if we can make our own or get the technology to build one than that is the other thing but buying is not a good option.

1. There have been quiet a incidents involving nuclear reactors-
In America there was the 3 Mile Island incident, even in Japan this has happened.
But yes, Chernobly was the worst one.
2. The Kursk tragedy- as the report you have quoted says, it had nothing to do with the nuclear reactor. It was at best a maintenance issue.
3. Yes, MiG21 is referred to as Flying coffin. But, the strange thing is that the Air Force Chiefs always stand by this aircraft. I think the reason for MiG21 crashes was the difficulty in obtaining spare parts, though I am not sure of this.
Surprisingly, the Air Chief is on record to say that the MiG29 has a defective design, not MiG21. A MiG29 crashed a few months ago.
4. I have to say that i have never heard of a Pakistani Airforce fighter aircraft crashing, also, i have never heard of any inquiry against any General, bureaucrat or Politician, in relation to defence purchases. Whats the reason?
