Need guidance from UK members for passport/NICOP procedure of baby born in UK

Hi,


We were blessed with a baby girl last week. I have registered her birth in the local council. I now have to get her passport to make it able for her to travel. The issue is that I have to get this done ASAP as my wife's visa is expiring on 19th of March and she is planning on going back to Pakistan on or before that day. And I have to get my baby girl's passport ready before then. Is it possible?


By reading online questions for NICOP and Pakistani process I could not get any idea of timeline and of any urgent option available.


Some helpful guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Bro! congrats for being blessed with a lil angel. You need to contact Pakistan embassy, you need the council certificate along with parents ID's and apply for the passport on urgent basis, it costs a bit more but nevertheless passport is delivered in 12-15 days. it is also possible to apply online via Nadra website. my experience with NADRA website has been quite good but other friends have mentioned some delays too therefore I would recommend you to go to embassy in person. Call in to get an appointment would be helpful. Visit NADRA website for requirements. Hope it helps

I would also prefer it be done online and we dont have to go as I am located in Newcastle upon tyne.

Any idea, how I can get this done online only?

Congrats Bro for the being blessed with a daughter.

First you need to have a birth certificate,
embassy will not entertain you without birth certificate and it takes some time to get appointment for birth certificate.

If you have already received birth certificate then you should go to embassy early morning,
explain your situation and they may endorse your daughter's name on mother's passport, although this is not done in routine but due to exceptional circumstances they may do it. You need to inform airline for an additional ticket as well which is nominal charge but it comes in head count so it will be required.

If nothing of the above is possible, then you must go to Croydon office for extension of visa for a few days, don't overstay, you will be blacklisted if you don't inform them even you have compassionate grounds.

There is another solution if nothing works above but it has bit of illegality about it so if come back on the forum or PM me when if you are not able to do two of the above options.

and yes its takes 2 to three weeks to get NICOp and then 3 to 4 weeks to get her passport online
