Farhat ullah Baber has incorrectly referred to the specific or general order, as he perceives or attempts the viewers to understand "issued by the Sindh Government".
In Section 4 of the the Anti-terrorism Act, 1997, the word "Government" in that context has been used for Federal Government and not for a Provincial Government.
The Sindh Government and the PPP are incorrect in the application of the constitutional provisions as well as the Federal Law.
Therefore, they appear to be more inclined towards resolving the issue through political tactics rather than knocking at the doors of a court of law.
The best course of action in the interest of Karachi law and order will be either the Sindh Government to withdraw from the political stunt or seeks judicial opinion on it while interimly allowing the Rangers to continue as it is.
