Nawaz Sharif had to shorten his London tour and departed for Pakistan due to the political situation prevailing in the country. He also said upon this occasion that he will not let the democratic act to derail.
Former Prime Minister was scheduled to return on 30th December; however he has departed from Heathrow airport for Pakistan on PIAs flight PK 758. Nawaz Sharifs son Hassan Nawaz is also accompanying him. Yesterday, Nawaz contacted Chaudhry Nisar and Mian Shahbaz Sharif regarding the political situation of Pakistan, after which Hamza Shahbaz urgently went to London and briefed Nawaz Sharif. It is governments duty to ensure the implementation of judicial decisions and all the hurdles being created in this regard must be removed, he added. Nawaz also said that 17th amendment must also be eliminated as soon as possible.
