I think the words used in the whole conversation are very mild to describe a serious situation. While I don't support any and all things to be discussed in media, I believe showing this specific scenario on TV may change the thought process of some of our parents who just want to 'dump' their daughters to somebody regardless of age, financial status, health issues, education, etc. Ironically in our society, the girl has to spend rest of her 'only' life with that person. This is a very serious ethical crime as the girl is given a life time punishment in certain cases.
Fact of the matter is, these kind of health issues are not generally known even to parents. Only the man has to have enough courage to avoid getting into a marriage contract. He can live a rather happy life - with out getting married than a tense married life, with a wife whom he will be avoiding the rest of his life. End of the day, this is a God given condition mostly, like people who are born without vision capability or they can't walk or whatever. I know it is easier said than done.
Our society should be courageous enough to let the woman decide if she wants to live with that person and make the separation process much simpler legally.
