The problem is that our movies industry got ruined due toilliteracy, nepotism and lack of creativity. They must address social issues inour movies the way they have been doing via serials. What are we going to say about movies likeHaseena Item Bomb, Sher Gujjar and so on? Our talent goes over to India simply forfinancial gains and greed. Invest in dramas and creative movies or thrillersand you’ll get recognized the way they did with that serial named Humsafar. Makearrangements for subtitles and world will know about our society. And drop this obsession with Wood in a name such as Lollywood. Do Chinese, Japanese or Iranians use such a name for their industry?
And as a nation we also need to look at certain topics witha broader mind and TOLERANCE such as historical figures and let other scholars, historians and professors decide whether likes of Mohamamd Bin Qasim, AhmadShah Abdali, Nooruddin Zangi, Khilji and others really the ones whom ourtextbooks portray? I know if you say anything critical about Bin Qasim thenthere are lot of dislikes against you and people call you a traitor or eveninfidel.
While talking about Sachin Tendulkar, yes he didget appreciation but look at the immature side of Indian media and masses too.If you do a little bit criticism towards Tendulkar then you are a nationalenemy/villain. For instance, Shoaib Akhtar wrote his autobiography where hesaid that Tendulkar is not always a match winner then they held demonstrationsagainst him and held media trials. Even his book was removed from the shelvesof many bookstores of Mumbai. Is this democratic?
