Maulana ki aqal ka andaza in ki is baat se lagaya ja sakta hai k hindustan walun ne ek sache wakiye pe mabni film dikhane wale cinema ko aag laga di but hum film dekh rahe hn ...... In other words hum ne q nai jalaye ... i doubt he has seen the movie himself before commenting
You can say the way issue is portrayed in this movie is exaggerated and not very accurate but you cant deny the problem. But to say k India walun ne to cinema jala dia aur hum beth k film dekh rahe hn - really SHAMEFUL

Biases in societies do exist and no wonder they get noticed in the west if the worldview they have is matched or surpassed by the project. On the positive note, Honour killing is a horrible fact and deplorable and unless it is regularly highlighted, even educated lot may miss this. Centuries old culture and habits can only be reversed by education, sane religious scholars and somehow teaching people that women are not objects but living being with heart, sense of love and pain. They deserve respect, Honour and love... Not hate, acid, bullets, Kara Kari and so on..

The usual "WHy she no make fillum on positive of Pakistan hein" arguments.
Heres an idea.
MuftiNaeem has been running a madressa for so many years where he claims students are taught deeni and dunyawi uloom. So why is it that his seat of learning has not been able to produce one single person who can make a high-quality film on positives of Pakistan and its people? I doubt he lacks funds...a brain on the other hand...?
Why is it imperative that a person who is making a film on problems in Pakistan has to validate his or her patriotism by making a film on positives of Pakistan too?
Has anyone asked Michael Moore why he doesnt make films about positives of US and concentrates only on the problems?
Zaid Hamid has lots of funds and loves to paint positive pictures and is in the media. Why hasnt he made a pak-positive documentary of international calibre?
Why hasn't Dr. Danish or Dr. Sazish Masood made a pak positive film despite being heavy weights in the media?
Why hasnt Shan made a documentary about Pakistan since he loves to brag that he only works in Pakistani ventures?
We have hundreds of millions of people in Pakistan, we have freedom of expression, we have cameras, equipment, softwares, schools, editors, writers...so why is it that only Sharmin has to shoulder all burdens of making the kind of documentaries you guys want?
Why doesnt Siasat.pk make a pak-positive documentary? Set up a kickstarter, gofundme or indiegogo page and ask for donations to make a pak-positive film and make it so good that it gets an oscar nomination or even if it doesnt atleast it gives you the satisfaction that you desire.

1. 3 Bahadur (Pakistans highest grossing animated film featuring 3 kids with special powers to do good)
2. Song of Lahore (Film follows Pakistani musicians as they go from Lahore to perform in NYC)

Plus look at how he's talking about burning incidents in India. I guess he's talking about the documentary titled India's Daughter which was banned by the Government of India. However many Indians including celebrities like Freida Pinto and John Abraham would speak against the ban. Plus, those were not the common masses in India who did burning and stuff but groups like Shiv Sena and Bajrang Dal etc.....whom even many sane Hindu Indians hate.
