There are hundreds of incidents which prove the involvement in terrorism, pressurizing media, rigging polls etc.

The most recent is attack on the AAJ TV on May 12, 2010, when they were telecasting live MQMs terrorism. This terrorism was declared as Show of Power by MQMs master dictator Musharraf on the same day at a meeting in Islamabad.

They blocked most channels on many occasions on the directives of their Master dictator Musharraf in Karachi / Hyderabad.

Most of the journalists / media persons threaten to follow their orders and telecast whatever they gave them otherwise they were in meet the consequences. BOHARE BUND LASH

Most of these activities were only documented by Amnesty International and European Union delegations who supervised Elections 2008.

However, in Karachi the only independent media paper Dawn Group, brought into the notice to the Government and other about the pressurizing by MQM on them and hurdles created in performing their professional duties.
