This extraordinary news through wikileaks shows incredible dishonesty of the Civilian Government. It is such a shame a Pakistani Minister would go to american ambassador to complain about the aid given to the Military.
He wanted the aid to come through the corrupt politicians who would use it for their own benefits and steal most of it, or use it to fill budgetary gaps.
The most astonishing news is that over $6.6 billion were stolen from the Military help and used for civilian budgets by Musharaf regime. Only 250 millions were given to the Military out of 6.6 billion military aid.
It should open the eyes of the people who are blaming Army wily nilly, our survival now depend on strong defense. I am not a supporter of Generals like Kiyani, but we should all support our army files and ranks. Only a very strong and robust Pakistan can deter the enemies.
Wise up and wake up Pakistan. The "Enlighten moderate Brigade" should hold their peace, their's is outdated thinking. You can not stop bully's like US, Indian and Israel by sucking up to them, they will destroy you. The only way is to stand up to them, no way out, pleasing them is to bring destruction to yourself. We do not want destruction of Pakistan, we will make sure that enemies of Pakistan are defeated, including those who use their positions to mislead people of Pakistan from their $$ sponsored BS.
