If mr.ateeq transfered his house to meera's name,there is no way he can get it back because by law she can keep the house,beside in the eyes of law,if husband give something to wife like ,jewelary,clothes or house its called gift to the wife and she dont have to give it back.ateeq is not an illiterate person,if he is in business ,he should know the imlications arising from transfering the house.this is a legal point i mentioned what happened after that ,i dont give a shit.

Fair enough but still Meera can't have the house? because If It is proved that she is indeed his wife, what happens then?? I am not sure about Pakistan but here in west If you get divorced, you have to share the wealth with the spouse.

lahori,ateeq gave the house as a gift to meera and the the house is under meera's name so there is no possibility of getting it back.in pakistan the property is not shared after divorce if it was possible then film actor rangela(L) dont live in the 5 marla house and his first wife took the 2 kanals house with her after divorce because the house was under her name,its possible if the house is under meera's name only,thats what i know but only a lawyer can say something definate after looking all the papers and clauses and ateeq can get 50% of the house if his name is on the registry papaers otherwise forget it.ateeq should not have transfered the property to anyone's name,its a legal and very complicated matter. the property and monetary laws in west are totally different than in pakistan.i am not taking anyone's side by the way.
