Maryam Nawaz Applies For Air Conditioner Facility In Jail

Rawalpindi (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11th August, 2018) Maryam Nawaz, incarcerated in Adiala Jail along with father Nawaz Sharif and husband Capt (r) Safdar in Avenfield Reference, has applied for air conditioner facility in the jail.

The picture of the application is going viral on social media. The application seeks provision of air conditioner facility in central jail, Rawalpindi on medical grounds.

The application was reportedly sent to the jail authorities on August 9. The jail authorities have not given an official statement over this.

Earlier, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was provided the facility of an air conditioner in jail upon the directions of Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Dr Hassan Askari Rizvi following illness.

According to Punjab Prisoners department, the former prime minister has been given this facility over the report of his doctor Azhar Kiyani.

Jail sources said that it is the first time that a prisoner has been given the facility of an air conditioner.

An accountability court had given 11 years imprisonment to Nawaz Sharif, seven years to Maryam Nawaz and one year to Capt (r) Safdar in Avenfield property judgment on July 6.

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz were arrested from the Lahoreairport on July 13 and were transferred to Adiala jail in Rawalpindi. Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz are being kept in B-class of Adiala Jail. The B-class jail has facilities such as a 21-inch television, newspapers, a bed and fan.

What about the medical condition of millions of Pakistanis who ARE LIVING WITHOUT ELECTRICITY for hours and just want a fan to work the whole night so they can sleep?

They are not living in jail in punishment for looting infinite amount of money from a poor nation. What about the other jail inmates who are living there for much lesser crimes?

Law is law and until its changed nothing can be done about it, 6 lac and over taxpayers and MNAs MPAs get class A jail. So ganju, neefa powdri and safdar are eligible for it. This qoum ki ferrari, neither paid 6 lac tax nor was a MPA or MNA and should be treated like any other convict.

Is it real that she is called Mrs.Maryam Nawaz Sharif as I see on this application instead of Mrs.Maryam Safdar.
Any how these families in politics have no morals , no ethics and no codes set to live this life as humans, they prove it every day that name, honor, respect , family, mother , father, brother, nation, even country doesn't carry the attraction for them as much as some $$$, they have done every thing for $$$. Alhamdulillah their time is over and they are rotting in jail.
Though Mayram never gave these feeling when in power, but we will not reject bluntly that she is the daughter of nation, but how about other females in jail, who are they ? should we not consider them also for similar facilities if Maryam who is been involved in corruption, speaking against the judiciary, against the establishment, against Pakistan Army, headed the group of people forming a social media to malign Pakistan Army, will she be given any facility in Jail because she has done all this, and a message to common people that do all these things to qualify any facility in jail or life?

They have got all the facilities in this so called jail, living a luxurious life off tax payers money. They even have other prisoners working as servants for them The only problem is unavailability of a Qatri which can also be sneaked in on demand. Jail is for punishment and will not serve the purpose until A, b, C, D classes are abolished and everyone is given the same facilities and chores to do.
