Where did Shahzad Akbar say that 'govt malik riaz ko nuqsan nahin honay day gi'?

Shahzad Akbar clearly said that they are 2 different cases. And the govt is bound by a confidentiality clause, and cannot make a statement just to please our loud mouth and irresponsible media. Such disclosures will affect future cooperation with UK authorities and NCA.

At the end of the day, there is a huge amount of recovered loot coming back to Pakistan. Whether it comes via the supreme court, or directly to a treasury account, or on a mule, or on camel back. it doesnt matter. Its quarter of a billion dollars recovered for the first time in the history of Pakistan, and that is a big thing. It is a sad shame that you have to politicize this aspect too.. (perhaps because politicians are deeply involved).

You are refusing to talk about facts...and are engaging in classic distraction of the worst kind.

NOWHERE in the article did Shahzad Akbar say that these funds will be used to satisfy the Bahria town settlement.

This is what Shahzad Akbar said

جب صحافیوں نے مزید سوالات کیے تو انھوں نے کہا ’بالکل یہ رقم سپریم کورٹ میں جمع ہو گی۔ شہزاد اکبر نے صحافیوں سے سوال کیا کہ ’کیا سپریم کورٹ آف پاکستان میں پیسے آتے ہیں تو کیا وہ سٹیٹ آف پاکستان کا حصہ نہیں ہے۔‘

ان کا کہنا تھا ’یہ پیسے عدالت میں جمع ہوں گے اور ہم نے عدالت سے (یہ پیسے) مانگے ہوئے بھی ہیں کہ یہ پیسے سندھ کو نہیں ملنے چائیں، وفاق کو ملنے چائیں۔

پاکستان کی سپریم کورٹ کے رجسٹرار عارف ارباب نے بی بی سی کو بتایا کہ نیشنل بینک سے انھیں یہ پیغام ملا ہے کہ وہ سپریم کورٹ کے اس اکاؤنٹ میں پیسہ جمع کرانا چاہتے ہیں جو ملک ریاض سے 460 بلین روپے کی ریکوری سے متعلق کھولا گیا تھا۔

رجسٹرار کے مطابق برطانیہ کے مقدمے سے سپریم کورٹ کا کوئی تعلق نہیں ہے اور ’ہم صرف اپنے فیصلے کی روشنی میں بحریہ ٹاؤن سے قسطیں وصول کر رہے ہیں‘۔

The govts perspective is very clear. This money was recovered as a result of the govts push to repatriate looted funds. SC is using this as a way to satisfy its own settlement. Obviously SC is using its authority in a cheeky way...and the govt has made a very clear stance on the nature of the funds as above.
The govt wont make a public spectacle of their tug of war with the SC......becuase in essence, this would give Malik Riaz a way to save on his penalties.
Govt perspective is very clear. You are obviously trying to make a political point out of a legal issue.
You are more interested in diverting attention from it, since the Hyde park property involves Hussain Nawaz's name as well...and no doubt the NCA recovery involved him as well.
