I fasted today...Everyone I knew except for one person fasted today. I guess I am part of the fitna.
Maybe 35 witnesses from Kpk aren't good enough since we might not be as trustworthy or "real" Muslims like those in other areas.
The only way to get rid of 2 day eid/fast is to wait till 12 at night till the final announcement is made. Its not OK to sacrifice the Islamic way of announcing Ramadan (which says that one can even wait till almost Fajr time to announce Ramadan's arrival). Rather Mufti Muneeb and Co's way of announing Ramadan's arrival at or just before 9 pm just so some publicity starved clerics can be in the spotlight at Prime Time TV.

Haan pathan to dunya kee arali qaum hai yeh 36 log ....sirf in hi logon ko purey pakistan mein chand nazar ata hai...sarey scientist sarey pakistan key log stupid hein ya andhey hain jin ko nazar nahin ata aur kpk key hungu waghera key yeh 30 35 log har saal dawa kartey hein keh ham ney dekha hai...kabhi us sey pocho keh kiss area mein dekha hai to woh jo area batata hai wohan par kabhi ho hee nahin sakta...merey apney teacher peshwar key they kehta hai mein ney chand wahan dekha hai qasmein bhi kha raha tha par agley din jab chand sab ney dekha to uski batai hoee jaga sey bohot door tha....to aisey jhooton par roza kaisey rakha ja sakta hai????

aap ny khud chand dekhny ki koshish ki kal raat? nahi kiya toh phr apni bakwas band kar . chand dekny ki shahadat qabool karna itna asan bhi nahi jitna tum bakwas karahay ho. jis banday ko chand nazar ata hay wo apnay alaqay k muntahib aalim ky paas jata hy awr usky samny Quran par hath rakh kar gawahi de jati hy. pehle usy jhooti shahdat ky gunah ky baray mein bataya jata hy.

Unfortunately evey Pakistani is self procaloed "Mullah" as well and will disregard Quran and Hadith like nauzubillah wahi came on them only.
Please before anyone refutes this I request you to think 100times this is a Sahih Hadith/Authentic hadith.
The CORRECT verdict by Prophet Mohammad (saw) is as follows :

AbuUmayr reported on the authority of some of his paternal uncles who were Companions of the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him): Some men came riding to the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) and testified that they had sighted the new moon the previous day. He (the Holy Prophet), therefore, commanded the people to break the fast and to go out to their place of prayer in the morning.
NARRATOR Abdullah ibn Umar

HADITH_No 2331
Husayn ibn al-Harith al-Jadli from the tribe of Jadilah Qays said: The governor of Mecca delivered a speech and said: The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) took a pledge from us that we should perform the rites of hajj after sighting the moon. If we do not sight it and two reliable persons bear witness, we should perform the rites of hajj on the basis of their witness. I then asked al-Husayn ibn al-Harith: Who was the governor of Mecca? He replied: I do not know. He then met me later on and told me: He was al-Harith ibn Hatib, brother of Muhammad ibn Hatib. The governor then said: There is among you a man who is more acquainted with Allah and His Apostle than I. He witnessed this from the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him). He then pointed with his hand to a man. Al- Husayn said: I asked an old man beside me: Who is that man to whom the governor has alluded? He said: "This is Abdullah ibn Umar, and he spoke the truth. He was more acquainted with Allah than he. He (Abdullah ibn Umar) said: For this is what the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) commanded us (to do).
I fail to understand, why Mr. Munib does not follow the Quran and Sunnah himself, if he follow prophet (swa) and accept even one witness and rid us of of this evil created by his refusal. The sin of the matter would be on the witness not on the whole nation incase the witness is a liar.

میں نے مفتی منیب الرحمٰن کا ایک انٹرویو سنا تھا جس میں انہوں نے چاند دیکھنے کے لیے نیکڈ آئی شرط بتائی تھی اور ٹیکنالوجی کو رد کیا تھا۔ کہ وہ رویت کے تقاضے کو پورا نہیں کرتی۔ لین خود تو یہ توپ قسم کی دور بین کی مدد سے چاند تلاش کر رہا ہے۔

میرے مطابق جنہوں نے آج روزہ رکھا وہ بھی درست ہیں اور جو کل روزہ رکھیں گے وہ بھی درست ہیں۔ دراصل رویت ہلال ایک علاقائی مسئلہ ہے اس کو انا کا مسئلہ بنانا غلط ہے۔
جہاں تک جھوٹی شہادت کا تعلق ہے۔ شہادت کا ایک اصول ہوتاہے، اور یہ شہادت اللہ کی قسم سے مشروط ہے اگر کوئی جھوٹی شہادت دیتا ہے تو پھر یہ اللہ اور شہادت دینے والے کامعاملہ ہو جاتا ہے۔
ویسے بھی مون سائٹنگ ڈاٹ کام کے مطابق کل پاکستان میں چاند نظر آنے کے کافی امکانات تھے۔
