Who told him to take a kid to Masjid???

A mamoth misconception that a huge number of muslims are suffering from is that the Prophet Muhammad pbuh used to bring Hassan/Hussain :razi: with him for Prayer. This is not true. The Prophet never brought them with him for prayer. In fact, there was only a thick cloth curtain between the 'masjid' and 'the prophet's house (Hujra Mubarak). So, it was only on one or two occasions that Hassan :razi: heard the Prophet leading the prayer and ran to msjid and sat on his back while the Prophet pbuh was in Sajdah.

The real teachings that we've got from our Prophet pbuh are that we should start telling and motivating our kids for prayer when they reach the age of SEVEN and we should become more firm in asking them to pray when they reach TEN.

Even that there is a HADEETH in IBN e Majah in which the Prophet pbuh is reported to have said that people should keep "very young' kids away from Masajid.

Most people, these days, say that they bring kids to masjid so that they become familiar to the act and the place. But, they ignore the age factor defined by the Prophet pbuh.

May ALLAH bless all of us with the right understanding of our religion. Ameen

The part of Hadith that I have made blue means '' Keep away from Masajid ''very young kids''.

However, now you'd see the 'FITNA' group would appear and straightaway call this Hadith 'Zaeef' and so they would give their 'FATWA' that we must not act upon it. No one has ever disrespected Ahaadees so much as these 'wayward' creatures. A friend of mine was reciting Surah Yaseen everyday for the past many years. Then, unfortunately, he befriended with one of these who told him that all Ahadeeth about Fazaail of Surah Yaseen are 'Zaeef' and he should not believe them. The RESULT '' my friend has stopped reciting the Surah''.

May Allah save the entire Muslim world from the obnoxious influence of this 'group' of 'misguided' busing in 'misguiding' people about Quran and Hadeeth. Ameen
