I have never been able to play any video uploaded on http://www.zshare.net/ like this one.

Why? Is there something I need to install?
The only way to play is to download on my computer and play from there. But thats time consuming and kills the purpose of online videos.

Can someone suggest me what to do?

You should never ever have to download a video. It takes so much time, It's not even worth watching it :P. Let me help you resolve this issue.

First, please go to http://www.acanac.ca/speedtest/

and tell me what result do you get.

The common reason usually is the speed. Let me know and we will go from there.

It looks like speeding indeed is your problem. You are not even getting 2mb. Zshare videos require good speed. I would say minimum of 4 mb.

What do you see when you try to watch the video? It probably shows It's loading?

How about the current video on this thread. Can you play that?

By the way, its not 1.97 Mbps, its almost 20 Mbps. Recently I checked it was 31 Mbps. I am using a 100 Mbps internet but unfortunately though understandably I am never getting that speed.

Can there be any other problem with Zshare videos?
Am I the only one having trouble with that?

20 mbps = to about 2 mb and that is the slowest connection if you are living in europe or north america. Average connection here is 4 mb and the fastest I have seen so far is 20 mb.

If you are in Pakistan. The average connection there is 2 mb.

Yaar, you really got me thinking here if I am being robbed by my internet operator. I had to read the basics again and difference between Mbps (Mega bits per sec) and MB (Mega bites per sec). So after recheking that I checked the speed again by our local swedish speedtest which gave me 94 Mbps = 11.75 MB downloading speed.

I am just interested to know why zshare videos are not working for me as again, speed doesnt seem to be my problem.

By the way, is it possible to avoid hosting videos on zshare. Just a thougt.

You are download speed is only 2mb. It is definitely the speed issue. What country are you in and how much are you paying for your internet.

Yes eventually we will completely stop using zshare.
