That is called Superiority complex...Same thing that Hitler had for European powers like France, Britain, Russia etc and then Arabs had in ARab Israel war due to their numbers...Last but not the least Saddam Hussain was famous for this as he had same thoughts about Iran Iraq War and then in First Gulf war where he sent a huge force supported by thousands of Russian made Tanks and called it "Mother of All war" but got defeated in that as well...Every time when Muslims have done something like that they got defeated so I dont think Iranians should be doing that cause It might boost their moral and strike fear in the hearts of western power but in the ground they have so many disadvantages like Food Shortage, Technology of weapons and also Political instability(some extent) so they must focus on their internal situation cause in last 60 years all the defeats of Muslim countries were caused by Internal situation of their countries...
