how to punish people is decided by teh society.. in current economical circumstances with corrupt judges.. i dare not put cutting of hands punishment for stealing... there are death penalties for drug dealing in varous countries as goverend by teh scoiety...

what i say is people decide how to punish if some one drinks alcohol or allow some one else to drhink or not... if they want them jailed so be it.. if they want then dead so be it... that society and their norms were different... even the hadees says thatwa s teh best society and it will keep on degrading ... no one is stopppng u to folllow sharyat as an individual capacity... and how can u impose laws which were governed in teh best pious society as compared to this...

i dont drink becuase out of religious reasons.. i wudnt really want people to drink as well... so in paksitan it is banned as majority dont want public drinking.. but if i start forcing people not to drink when it is a norm here and punishing people with lashes .. dont agree with tat.... first let society lift their level and these laws will be implemented bythe. not some talibani idiots liek mulla omnar

I understand what you're saying....So all islamic punishments are wrong (including the ones described in Quran) because they are akin to forcing someonr e.g. some people were punished by Prophet Mohammad pbuh for drinking alcohol and hence shariah was forced upon them, which is in your view a wrong thing to do?

same old secular argument. No society is perfect therefore there should be no shariah. Let the people decide if Quran is right or wrong or which law to follow or reject. يہ ايک غلط تجزيہ ہے کہ اگر حکومت پاکستان امريکہ اور خطے ميں ديگر فريقين سے تعلقات منقطع کر لے تو دہشت گردی کا عفريت اپنے آپ منظر سے ہٹ جاۓ گا۔ اگر ايسا ہوتا تو جس وقت امريکہ اور پاکستان کے مابين سفارتی اور اسٹريجک تعلقات نيٹو سپلائ کی بحالی کے موقع پر سرد مہری کا شکار تھے تو اس دوران پاکستان ميں دہشت گردی کا کوئ واقعہ نہيں ہونا چاہيے تھا۔ ليکن ہم جانتے ہيں کہ حقيقت يہ نہيں ہے۔ پاکستان حکومت کے موقف سے قطع نظر دہشت گرد گروہوں کے مظالم تواتر سے جاری رہے۔

اس کے علاوہ گزشتہ 10 برسوں کے دوران پاکستان میں 3 مختلف حکومتيں برسراقتدار آ چکی ہيں جن ميں قريب تمام ہی اہم سياسی جماعتوں کو نمايندگی حاصل رہی ہے۔ ان تمام حکومتوں نے ايسے اقدامات اٹھاۓ ہیں اور ايسی پاليسياں مرتب کی ہيں جو ان کے نزديک پاکستان کے عام شہريوں کی حفاظت کے ليے درست تھے۔ ليکن دہشت گردوں نے ہر موقع پر رياست کی اتھارٹی کو مسترد کيا ہے اور اپنے اقدامات سے پاکستان کے تمام اداروں سے اپنی نفرت کا اظہار کيا ہے۔

کيا آپ واقعی يہ سمجھتے ہيں کہ پاکستان کی تمام قانونی سياسی قوتيں دہشت گردی کے ايشو کو سمجھنے سے قاصر ہيں اور کالعدم دہشت گرد تنظيميں پاکستان کے عام شہريوں کے خلاف يہ ہولناک حملے کرنے ميں حق بجانب ہيں؟

اگر بحث کی حد تک يہ غير منطقی سوچ مان بھی لی جاۓ کہ ان حملوں کی وجہ "انتقام کا جذبہ" يا "منطقی ردعمل" ہے تو پھر بھی بدلے کے نام پر مساجد، سکولوں، ہسپتالوں اور يہاں تک کہ جنازوں پر بھی حملوں اور پھر اس کے نتيجے ميں بے گناہ افراد کی ہلاکت کی کيا توجيہہ يا منطق پيش کی جا سکتی ہے؟


يہ دليل کسی بھی صورت ميں درست قرار نہيں دی جا سکتی ہے

I don't know where you pulled this 90%+ figure but whether they pray or not, that isn't the point but if forced prayer is a shari requirement then it shall be implemented whether we like it or not. No aeen baeen shaeen when it comes to implementing shariah. If someone has problem with sharia they can leave and go to some atheist land. Simple as.

Nice article by Aftab Mohmand. Disappointment is spreading fast in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The PTI govt is back tracking from almost all its major tall claims and promises. For them every issue relates to the Federal govt and they are just there without any authority. Pervez Khattak is busy all the time in "Chars smoking" and to accomodate all his family members in the corridors of power. Asad Qaiser (speaker) is busy how to get the ticket of the party for his brother for NA-13 Swabi. Shaukat Yousafzai has earned fame by uttering the famous derogatory remark about the Suicide attacks i.e (Dhamaka hee huwa hay na, Konsi Qayamat aagai). No minister, no MPA and MNA of PTI and J.I can dare to visit the injured of bomb blasts in the hospitals. All are afraid of the wrath of the Taleban Terrorists. This govt of PTI and J.I in K.P is enough for their future political destruction.
The situation of K.P is not the result of the ANP govt rather it was the continous bad policies of our Army and ISI in the last 30 years which led our province on the path of destruction. If there was no ANP in the last 5 years, the terrorists would have fast captured Peshawar and perhaps the whole province. Salute to the ANP for resisting these terrorists with their blood and strong will.
