This is highly embarrassing for HR. First of all, how can he say to a Police Officer that his resources says that the person arrested is innocent!! Who is he, judge and jury!! That is the basic thing, which everyone should concentrate on. IT is not in the gambit of a journalist to say to a police officer that I think this person is innocent, why you have arrested him, let him go. WTF, is this the law in Pakistan!! Like this the Dacoits Sharifs are saying they are innocents and they are political victims. So we let them go!!!
Second thing the guy was talking to him with respect, not necessarily with politeness but he didn't use any bad words. HR called him "Gadha" first..
How many of us would accept such language in our own line of work!!!
Police is no saint in Pakistan, but same token, a journalist has no right to start name calling an officer just because he thinks or want to prove a person innocent.

If the person on phone Haroon Rasheed, he must be punished for unlawful interference in Government affairs if not then track the ip address/mac address of the unit to arrest the person.

We all know that. That is not disputed. The problem is a journalist can not decided innocence of someone and demand his release.
Do you understand one thing!! If HR has said such thing to a police officer in the west, he himself would have been arrested immediately for perverting the course of justice. I don't know about the person arrested by the police. But I can say this with certainty knowing the British Laws that
HR is definitely guilty and he would have been convicted in the UK without shadow of a doubt and would have spent anything between 1 to 3 years as a guest of Her Majesty.

You Know Haroon Sahib Was Always The Most Calm Cool and Balanced Man In Pak Media.Maybe It's Old Age Or Prolonged Health Issues These Days He Does Get Flared Up Easily.But If You Note That It Was The Police Officer Started To Misbehave
Also If You Note The Recording HR Did Not Say Release Him Immediately He Only Said According To My Sources The Man Is Innocent And Then The Police Officer In Great Sharifs Tradition Started Attacking Him
