Women say it because this is one of the reasons for domestic abuse, yes even in Western countries women are physically and verbally abused by men for not having food ready on time or food tasting bad etc. but I don't expect coddled "grown" men who insist on being babied to understand that...

Violence on both sides need to be condemned. However, statistics dont lie and women are far far more likely to be a victim of such violence than men are when it comes to issues of household affairs. This happens when you think you have a God given right over something and how dare someone not fulfill that right. A lot of women and men across the globe dont throw tantrums when they come home to find uncooked or unheated food. So it's hilarious how men crying about this and weaponizing religion to show women their place dont realize their own arrogance (which is quite a big sin) and self entitlement behind their tantrums. Women no longer buy this weaponization because that "tantrum" is missing from men when it comes to women not receiving their inheritance, haq mehar or khula rights. The selective weaponization couldn't be more nakedly obvious. It is time to stop weaponizing religion and grow up.
