Is this Charity Halal or Haram?

Salam all,
I don't have any doubt on their good intentions on doing the charity cat walk. In west they take all their clothes to do charity in some cases. These girls have only taken their sleeves off. So still lot of body covered :?:
From a Muslim's point of view Allah has not asked you to do charity from Haram means. My knowledge of Islam tells me to do the charity from money earned from Halal Sources.
But another interesting thing is the aid coming from non-Msulim countries, are we sure if it is Halal or Haram?
Just a food for thought or a topic for discussion.

u absolutely right .. this is all crap .. twisting the islam ,,

its not charity and no way according to the teachings of islam ..

thats the job of so called modern or liberal moslems .. which is then again a rubbish concept

u either moslem ( following the islam and have firm faith in it ) or u not .. there is nothing in between .. its absolutely this way or that way .. and its true for all the faiths and religions ..

but then unfortunately this is what the pakistan and the rest of moslem world is like ..

trust me .. nobody would enojy t his mind stirring by u .. this is not what ppl come here for ..but i really appreciate for raising this question !

Really a food for thought brother

There are three aspects, I suppose:
1. Whether organizing this type of functions are Halal or Haraam? there is no difference of opinion that they are haraam, irrespective of the purpose of the function!
2. Do the organizers conduct this to earn Sawaab or blessings of Allah, I don't think so. So the question whether this charity is halal for them is out of question?
3. The aid coming from US, UNO is halal or haraam? Since the chances are very low that this aid would be used for the displaced ppl of sawat, therefore we dont need to find the answer of this question as well.
4. For us the actual question is: is it halal to publish and watch such photos? Lets find and think over it.

Interesting question.
Depends on the intention(niyah) as well I suppose. We are only discussing here if it is right or wrong to do such kind of activity. It is published in a daily newspaper anyway and people have already seen it.
OR
Lets paint the naked body parts with black as they in the newspapers :)
Just kidding.
I think it is a valid question.
