2 dead as two religious groups exchange fire in DI Khan DERA ISMAIL KHAN: At least two people were killed and seven other wounded after two religious groups clashed here on Saturday.
The incident took place at Dhaki Morr in Dera Ghazi Khan.
The situation was so tense that the local authorities had to call the Frontier Corps.
According to police, two religious groups traded fire on a dispute about rout of Eid Milad un Nabi procession, killing one person, and injuring seven others.
The injured were shifted to Tehsil Hospital Paharpur, where another injured died of injuries. Out of seven injured, two are still in critical state.
Following the incident, angry mob stated a protest and created unrest in the area.
Meanwhile, the police arrested 50 people for creating unrest in the city.
