Oh boy, I am having tons of issues! Is anyone else facing problems too? I'll list them (can provide proof of each as this time I saved screenshots).
Telenor
1. I have the 4G Wifi device. I officially got it from a Telenor main office, shara-e-faisal. I started getting messages on it from PTA that the device IMEI is not registered and that I should pay tax on it!! Why? Is Telenor importing them illegally or something?? Contacted Telenor almost month ago, with screenshots etc, they are 'stil trying to resolve the issue'
2. Easypaisa keeps coming out with 'cashback' offers. They sound super awesome (like 50% cashback), and actualy are not that bad (if they work). Yes, I know most of them to have small text or 'conditions' (like max cashback amount Rs 100 in a month etc). Around 6 months ago, after I got a promotional message, I did one such transaction (loaded my mobile).... Did NOT get any cashback... opened a complaint on the FB easypaisa page, they told me to tell them the transaction ID... which I did.. after that they told me to send the screenshot of the offer... I was too lazy, it was only 100 rupees, so I didn't do it
3. Some time ago, I decided to try again, maybe they have fixed it and since been running for so long, maybe they are actually giving it I thought, so I try again. AGAIN I did NOT get any cashback. This time I had the screenshot of their promotional message I got, Transaction ID etc... but they kept stalling on their twitter... it finally got resolved AFTER 2 weeks and they sent me the cashback.
4. Yesterday, I wanted to send some people zakat money. So I tried loading up 26,000 rupees from my standard chartered bank to the easypaisa account. It gave an error. A friend told me max I can transfer in one go is 10k, So I transferred 10k, 10k and 6k. And guess what, On easy paisa, I got 10k and 10k. Never got the 6k!!! (I have been using standard chartered bank transfer for ages and it has NEVER failed me, ever before. I have done hundreds of transactions, even with strangers from pakwheels, pakgamers, olx etc). I opened a complained on their FB page, they tell me to contact their helpline phone. Ok. I just called the helpline, and they are now telling me to contact the bank (which I have, waiting for a reply from my bank).
Even though the bank gave me a receipt, reference number, time etc which I forwarded to the easypaisa guys... they still can't locate my money.
I know so many Pakistani companies have improved their customer service, why are international companies so slow in this regard? Is it only Telenor/Easypaisa?? What is going on?
(SUMMARY for those who don't want to read the whole thing; Easypaisa/Telenor customer service and promotions suck. Most of the time they don't work. Services are glitchy, customer help is very very slow, money is lost/held up)
