MAn! u really raise a good point. But I can tell u some of Paksiatni guy living in west and Dubai, Saudia Arabia and working as Waiter , Taxi driver or software developer or third class enginner have occupied that forum they always putting religious matters here like Hadith, Quran verses or some discussion regarding religion in any form. These people holding 4 years universty degrees but they have no professional jobs of there field. So such Labor type type people always look every thing with the eye of religion!!

ON the other hand u will not see such much news channels in any country of world as Pak has. India is 6 time bigger than to us but they dont have as much News tvs as Pak. In these News TV most of the people r working have substandard education and always invite less educated people of Pak so most of our people get knowledge from these less educated media people of Pak.

Now I can give u example of India in every Indian news paper u will see the tab of Science and tec/BOOKS/education on there main page like western news papers where they always upgrade university teacher news what they are doing... ect in Pak u will not find and such tab of any Pakistani news paper but u always find big articles on religion on Friday(Juma) edition!! That is the difference between India and Pak...

Fatwa Has to do with, the current technology is not safe for humans and can cause a loss of human life, since human life is precious it should not be thrown away in dangerous missions.

It does not say humans can't go to Mars.

Once again your attempt to malign someone has failed miserably.

The point was, while others are actually doing something about sciences, Muslims are busy issuing fatwas.

One person's fatwa does not mean 1.5 billion Muslims are issuing fatwa.

In a similar way few scientist working on something, doesn't mean you get credit for it until you get off your @$$ and do something. Instead of staying logged on siasat.pk for 24hrs.
