From DHA Phase 7 to Indian border, its a mere 7 KM. What sense does it make of bringing a one n only major city of Punjab so close to the border of vulnerable neighbour? Should I just call it simply a real state greed of Pakistan army or somethings alse too?

Good move , it is always a daunting task for any army to capture a built up civilian Areas nowadays . BTW entire Lahore is within the range of Indian mortar fire , so do not worry!
