In Peacetime PAF needs 6 mins to scramble its jets

We have radars that cover not only our airspace but also airspace of our neighboring countries. So if a bogey is vectoring i.e if an unidentified aircraft is making a move towards your border you can scramble you jets towards the border where these bogies are expected to breach your airspace.
So your reaction time does not start from the time some one is already in your airspace!!! rather it starts when the radar operator identifies prospective airspace violation!! any reaction to this depends on your state of alertness and policy towards such incidents.
Seems like either there was no radar coverage or the guy at the radar was asleep or there where no orders to protect airspace from unidentified intrusions!!!

what about invasion of kargil by pak army and Indians found out about 2 days later, bin laden raid in islamabad, everyday mexicans come n go as they please on USA mexico border, my gardener since 20 years goes back n forth as he pleases to china and back, so no matter what borders how well they protected are penetrable and breeched by humans, thats why entire europe has no visa. Air defence no longer are depended 100% as in the past, as we have missiles that with a push of a button can reach local target in few minutes with 100% accuracy, be it a plane or armored division, what I mean I know some PAF people these are the most intelligent and highly educated in the world, they can be trusted of all the people, so be proud of PAF they r not sloppy.(bigsmile)
