Imran Khan misattributes a quote to Kahlil Gibran, but did media also get it wrong?

Media was not wrong --- it is actually attributed to Tagore --- the thread post itself gave references of number of Books attributing it to Tagore ---- as the Thread starter says that there is a dispute! A disputed thing can be attributed to the parties concerned

Real question is---- does any reliable book says that it is attributed to Khalil Jibran ?

You have given the references of reliable books attributing it to Tagore . Can you do the same in the case of Khalil Jabran any book attributing it to Khalil Jabran?

Do not forget the version quoted by Imran is attributed to Tagore

The references attributing it to Tagore have different words than the version quoted by IK. And those too without the actual year of publication. However, regardless, the point is that IK was wrong & so were the people mocking him & both for the same reason.

He is our PM --- as long as He is PM , it is our duty to respect him
No bro. He doesn't deserve any respect. He insulted previous prime ministers, he cursed the Parliament. Now he has to pay the price. No forgiveness for this bastard.

He did not insult the previous PM. He only asked to him to be accountable for his unexplained wealth. Plus, cursing the parliamentarians for their illegal activities outside the parliament is not "cursing the parliament."

Just a fun fact, Zardari has never been our PM.
In order to earn respect, the public office holders must bow down in front of the law. That is the gist of accountability & democracy. If they do not, then it is a monarchy.
What are the arguments of NS & Zardari when they are told "you are accountable to the law"? They say that we cannot be held accountable by institutions but only by the people.
So a common man is accountable to the law, but the public office holders are not accountable to anyone. How can you or anyone respect this opinion & style of governance?

I never said Zardari deserved respect.
I only reminded your statement that IK never disrespected a pm.
You should have said IK did not respect a former president because he didn't deserve it.
