I was curious to see what is the fuss about Im the Dim columns. This is just one of the column, there is complete series of Im the dim column. Here you go, enjoy.

The French Revolution ushered in the time known as the Era of Modern Democracy. It was in Paris that democracy's most important weapon was invented. It was called a 'L'eau Tard' (D silent) which after it arrived in Pakistan via the Oriental Express came to be affectionately known as the Lota."

I really like democracy. Not like Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari who don't know the first thing about it. In fact, I'm writing an article for The Friday Times which is all about democracy. Here it is: "When Alexander the Great invaded FATA, he was amazed to find a flourishing democracy already in existence with a bi-cameral parliament in regular session in Miranshah, North Waziristan, attended by elected delegates from all over the country within a two mile radius of Miranshah. This state of affairs continued happily until 1838 when the British invaded FATA and tried to impose their dinosaurian and primitive system of governance and education on the proud Pathans and Pathanis of FATA and adjoining areas.
